Data controller

Audun Moseng (Rendata) is the data controller for the personal data processed through this website. Privacy enquiries can be sent to audun@rendata.no.

What data we collect

Intro-call booking: When you book a call through our booking tool (Cal.com), you provide your name and email address, plus any information you write in the booking. We use this to arrange and hold the call.

Email contact: If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the content of your message in order to reply.

Guide downloads and newsletter: When you request a guide or sign up to the newsletter, we store your name and email address in our own email system (Listmonk, operated in the EU) to send you the material you asked for and the occasional relevant tip. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Purchases: When you buy a product, payment is handled by Stripe. Stripe processes your name, email address and payment details to complete the transaction. We receive receipt information (name, email, what was purchased) but never see full card details.

Web analytics: We use Umami, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool. It collects only anonymous, aggregated statistics (such as which pages are visited) and does not identify individuals.

Legal basis

Processing takes place in order to respond to and follow up your enquiry or booking, to complete purchases you make, and to meet our legal obligations, based on steps you request, contract, legal obligation and our legitimate interest in running the business (GDPR Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f)). For guides and the newsletter the basis is consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time. Anonymous web analytics does not involve processing of personal data.

Processors and third parties

Cal.com: Booking tool hosted in the EU (cal.eu). A data processing agreement is in place.

Stripe: Payment provider for purchases in the shop. Stripe is the controller for the payment itself and processes it under its own privacy policy. Transfers to the US take place under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

Listmonk: Our own email system for guides and the newsletter, operated in the EU.

Google Workspace: Used to send email (guides, newsletter and replies to enquiries).

Umami: Anonymous, cookieless web analytics (cloud.umami.is).

Hosting: The website runs on Microsoft Azure.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it beyond what is necessary to deliver the service.

Cookies

We use no tracking or marketing cookies, so the site shows no consent banner. Our analytics is cookieless. The Cal.com booking window and the Stripe payment button may set cookies that are strictly necessary for the booking and payment themselves to work.

Retention

We keep the data only as long as needed to follow up your enquiry or booking, and delete it when it is no longer required.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, as well as to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. Contact us at audun@rendata.no. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Changes

We may update this policy when needed. The current version is always available on this page.
